Over the past months, FINERN has not only continued to lead through technology and engineering excellence, but has also consolidated its role as a true builder of bridges between academia, industry, and international collaboration. Two major events serve as milestones in this journey, both carried out in partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey – the number one university in Mexico and a global reference in higher education.
1.Becoming a Socio Formador: Inspiring the Next Generation
The first major event marked FINERN’s official entry as a Socio Formador of Tecnológico de Monterrey. This program is designed to bring the challenges of the real industrial world directly into the classroom, giving students the opportunity to engage not with hypothetical cases, but with genuine engineering problems that demand creativity, discipline, and applied knowledge.
FINERN delivered a real challenge from the manufacturing and automation sector. Our engineers presented students with a complex scenario that required them to apply their academic foundations, but also to think outside the box. The students, in turn, responded with projects that went beyond expectation—solutions that reflected not only technical competence but also leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
Through this initiative, FINERN became more than just a company collaborating with the university: it positioned itself as a catalyst for learning. The Socio Formador program allowed us to directly influence the professional formation of future engineers, strengthening their ability to face the demands of the global industry. It also reinforced our own mission to nurture talent, empower young professionals, and ensure that the gap between academia and real-world industry becomes narrower every day.
2.A Stage of Leaders: Presentation to Tec de Monterrey Leadership and National Suppliers
The second great milestone was an exclusive presentation before the leadership of Tecnológico de Monterrey and a select group of national suppliers. This was not just another business meeting; it was a stage for vision, influence, and positioning.
On this occasion, FINERN was presented as a leader in industrial automation and engineering, a company with an international footprint and the capacity to deliver complex solutions for multinational partners. Before a demanding and elite audience, FINERN highlighted its achievements, its ongoing projects, and its long-term vision for growth.
By speaking directly to the leaders of Mexico’s top university and the decision-makers of the national supply chain, FINERN placed itself in the center of the conversation about innovation, collaboration, and the future of the industrial sector in Mexico and abroad. It was not only an opportunity to present ourselves, but also to establish trust, authority, and recognition at the highest levels.
From Participation to Leadership
Taken together, these two events transcend the simple idea of “corporate activities.” They are declarations of who FINERN is and what it stands for. We are not merely participants in the ecosystem—we are shapers of it. We inspire students to think boldly. In the future, FINERN will continue to deepen the model of "school enterprise cooperation" and collaborate with overseas universities to incubate composite higher education talents who can adapt to future changes.
